○ Versus by Kyungwoo Chun
In Versus, 50 participants are asked to sit on a double-bench shaped like a crescent moon. Each participant is to find a person whom they have never met before and then sit face-to-face with that person. The two participants will then lean forward so that each is resting his/her head on the other’s right shoulder. All participants are asked to close their eyes and refrain from talking during their sitting. The point is to relax and spend about 15 minutes in that position of leaning on or against each other. Versus, in essence, is a performance about relationships and their pre-requisites.
WHEN
Performances will take place at 1PM and 5PM on Tuesday, October 25. In between the scheduled performances, the benches will be open for all to enjoy.
WHERE
At Duffy Square and the Broadway Plaza between 46th and 47th Street.
The artist is still looking for participants for either performance. RSVP is requested.

○ Panel Discussion featuring Kyungwoo Chun, Inhee Iris Moon, and Asya Reznikov
Join artist Kyungwoo Chun, Versus curator Inhee Iris Moon, and artist Asya Reznikov for a panel discussion. The panel will discuss the genesis of Versus and talk about the themes of Chun's performance and photographic work. Refreshments will be served.

7:30PM on Tuesday, October 25.

Times Square Visitor Center at Seventh Avenue between 46th and 47th Street.
