○ 초대글
2007년 국내 작가를 대상으로 시작한 오픈 투 유 레지던스 프로그램은 2009년을 기점으로 네트워크의 폭을 세계로 넓혀 놓았습니다. 그간 한국을 비롯한 몽골, 일본, 대만, 마카오, 캐나다, 스위스, 독일, 터키 등에서 많은 작가들이 이곳을 지나갔고 또 지내고 있습니다. 부산의 외곽 그것도 산속 깊숙히 자리잡은 오픈스페이스 배는 때로는 고립된 섬처럼 때로는 아늑한 안식처와 같은 지리적 특성을 통해 참여한 작가로 하여금 소통의 기회를 제공하려 노력하였습니다. 잔혹한 무더위와 불편한 환경 속에서 꿋꿋하게 자기만의 프로젝트와 소통을 수행하고 있는 작가들의 삶과 작업을 만날 수 있는 시간을 준비하였습니다. 늦여름 밤 배 밭에서 벌어질 이 낯설고 황홀한 만남에 여러분을 초대합니다.

○ Invitation
OpenSpace Bae has been launched domestic artist-in-residence program in 2007 and it expanded its' networking boundary into the global as an international artist-in-residence program in 2009. In the meanwhile, many of international artists has been involved with this program from Mongolia, Canada, Switzerland, Japan, Macao, Germany, Turkey, Thai, Taiwan and Korea etc. OpenSpace Bae has been settled down in the middle of Ilgwan mountain which is far from Busan's downtown. One hand the location of Bae feels like an isolated island but another hand it feels like cozy shelter to the participated artists. We strongly believe that fellow artists can convert this kind of inconveniences into an energy for the sailing to 'the invisible island'. In spite of the brutal summer weather, every artist still keep going their communications and their own projects. OpenSpace Bae invites you to this uncanny event with starry summer night and residence artists here in OpenSpace Bae.
