Introduction |
The Daegu National Museum opened on 7th December 1994.
The Daegu National Museum houses approximately 30,000 artifacts. Its main collection consists of not only archaeological objects but also fine art objects.
There are three permanent exhibition rooms on archaeology, fine arts, and traditional folk life in addition to two special exhibition rooms.
A visitor to the museum can systematically trace back to the prehistoric culture of the Daegu region, the western part of the Kyongsangbukdo Province and the northern part of the Province through the Historic culture of this region.
