| Introduction | Johyun Gallery is a leading art gallery and still continues to grow in Busan where we exhibit Korean and internationally renowned artists and their works. Starting under the name "Gallery World" in an artown located in Gwangan-li in 1990, we moved to Haeundae Beach in 1999. Then in 2007, we settled down on the hills of Dalmaji. In the same year, second branch opened in Seoul in Chungdam-dong's Nature Poem building, expanding our active ground. Johyun Gallery widened our exhibition spectrum where in the past we have exhibited veteran Korean contemporary artists such as Park Seo-Bo, Yun Hyong Keun, Kim Chong Hak, Lee Kang So, and etc., but now we are reaching out to local and young artists, and also internationally recognized artists as well. Through our active participations in art fairs and art consulting, Johyun Gallery is exploring to find new ways for us to develop further in this particular art culture. |
