○Exhibition Introduction
CAIS Gallery will present Kyoungmi Lee's solo exhibition, [You Don't Own Me] expressing a variety of world's aspects reflected through a cat. The cat illustrated in the artworks is both her old roommate in her studio, and, at the same time, a reflection of the artitst herself with deep inner sorrow and wound. This exhibition is composed of various objet works which have been a foundation of her paintings, some installation works, and 15 large painting works.
KyounMi Lee has both bachelor's and master's degrees from Hong-Ik University. Followed by the first solo exhibition, [Nine Doors] in Noam Gallery in 2006, CAIS Gallery in 2007, CAIS Hong Kong in 2008, it is her 6th solo exhibition.
