| Introduction | TV12 gallery was established in Seoul Seokyo-dong, the cultural area of young generation. We have had about 60 artists’ exhibitions and 27 special exhibits at our gallery. TV12 has introduced Korean art of the young generation that is progressive and concrete. Our relocation to Cheongdam-dong area in October, 2011 is to extend our original roles as well as to dream of our new mission and goals so that TV12 would gain more progressive and our own unique character. In addition to this, we hope that our experiences with our previous special exhibits, our participations to domestic and overseas art fairs, and our collaborated exhibits with corporations would enhance us to reach our new vision. TV12, in this era when modern artwork genres and media vary with no boundaries, would like to dedicate our endless efforts to find new artists and support them as our gallery artists. The limitless potential and artistic talents of them should allow us for various exhibits and continuous promotions. Furthermore, in this global era, we will introduce contemporary art and culture of Korea to various countries overseas by being its bridges for, and such activity shall allow us to dedicate in supporting young Korean artists and exchanges of Korean art with international art world. More than anything, TV12 aims to show art of now with point of view of us. We will try our endlessly changing space to be where artists, audience, art professionals, and art lovers can experience the new, can experience good energy, and where much of interests and encouragements toward Korean art can happen |
