For me, there was a big difference between the material side to be transplanted and conceptual side to be transplanted in terms of its speed and degree. While the material and technique was considered as neutral value without the embodiment of nationality, conceptual side of me showed the tendency based on my cultural background. is a signature symbol reflecting the mode of late Joseon Dynasty (1800 ~1910) wooden furniture. Today, most of product designs of the world and design environment of each field obtain the result of basic materials produced in accordance with international standards using the design and representation program with similar format‐ convertiable system through multinational product facilities. At that time I adopted technique and materials without doubt but could not adopt aesthetic consciousness of each culture that plays a decisive role in design.
