1. The Outline
As part of 'Silk Road Project,' which has continued since 2004, this project is conducted through a journey from Pakistan Lahor, through Iran and finally to Istanbul.

Having the banner, which embodies various cultural contents, be recycled in other cultures(China, Pakistan, India, Nepal), I have proceeded with several 'in-between' roads, based on the accomplishments of the first Silk Road Project, which also allowed the documentation of other cultural proceedings.

1) China Xian- Nanjow - tibetlasa (approximately 2 months)

2) China Sanghai - Rweo-yang - Yangswoouh - Vietnam - Cambodia(2 month approx.)

3) China Beijing - SanShiSung - SanTungSung. (approx. 1 month)

4) Myanmar Yangon - Bagaan - Mandalei(approx. 1 month)

In this project, the staying period was extended in order to strengthen the interaction with local participants. Objet was designed and installed with the participants to enhance the intensity of the work.

This 'New Silk Road Project' has a secondary title : 'Bazaar.'
Through the Silk Road journey(Pakistan, Iran, Turkey), which connects with the markets in each project sites in this era of the capitalism and market economy, the significance of the 'center' and the 'outskirt areas' will be contemplated. Furthermore this not only intends to view the relationships between the culture of the first project areas(China, Pakistan, India, Nepal) and the Islam cultures, but also studies the regional distinctiveness, and reveal, through fine art, the reiteration and mixture of cultures in the present life.
