Choi Wooram explores the borders between science and the arts by building creatures using robotics and electronic parts. His creatures; insects, worms, Diode-dandelion, electric ivy, etc are then animated through the studies on moving mechanism. In doing so his art becomes outcomes of his experiments that he conducted on the relationship between manmade creature and human beings and how such artificial creatures encroach their creators. His fictions on virtual creatures living in this world are being activated by his act of animating his mechanic monsters and insects and their stories are as if they are creatures being evolved. His imaginative, vexed machines and animals/ plants raises question on relation between us and technology and fusion of art and technology.
